Stainless hose length, fittings, and size

Hello, im planning on replacing my transmission cooler lines that go into the radiator with stainless braided hose. I was wondering how much hose would i need to run both lines from the transmission to the radiator. Also what fittings would i need to adapt the an fittings to the transmission side and radiator side? And what size hose should i use, 4an or 6an?

I used 6an lines i cant remember how much i needed but i think i bought 15ft i can't recall but you could try to measure your stock lines to get an idea for how much you'll need... Also make sure you get teflon SS lines not rubber SS lines!! you'll need to get adapters for the for the transmission and radiator if i recall... ill try to remember to check this out since all be working o the car tomorrow i can't find my sheet with the parts i bought to do 6an transmission cooling lines... but ill take some pics and post them

Thanks man. I ordered 10 feet, hopefully that will be enough, and i found the adapters for the rad. Just to ask, why buy the teflon rather than the regular rubber? Also, when you unscrew the lines for the tranny, will the fluid leak out? Or just the excess in the line?

You don't need Teflon for ATF. You do need it for brake fluid.

No prob... Just the excess in the lines and radiator... as long as the pump isn't turning nothing else will come out...
