Ive been thinking of runnig a dual fan setup on my maro an was wondering if th "FLEX-A-LITE 480" will line up on my stock radiator?

 

Use the ford taurus fans.

 

Its funny your saying that im looking at a thread right now talking about it. Might go to the pick a part tomorrow 3.8 l taurus fans.

 

Now is this fan single or dual?

 

The 3.8L V6 I had (Yes I owned a pos ford), had dual fans, I don't know about the rest of them.

 

Im leaning towards the flexalite 490 i just need a switch.i dont use my a/c an i dont take long trips with the 373 gears.BUT WHAT I DID NOTICE TODAY IS THAT MY LOWER RADIATHOSE IS SUCKING SHUT DURING HEAVY GASSING. Im gonna change the hose in the morning an go from there.im still gonna get the flexalite 490 cause it would look really nice under the hood.

 

Mine was doing that and I didn't even notice it until it finally popped lol. I'm a bit confused though, what does a/c have to do with your car overheating or not? I would also make sure your air dam is in good condition since it makes the difference of running hot or cold.

 

I was saying that because the flexalite 480 fan was geared toward people still using a/c an running the fans when the ac was turned on thats all. So i was choosing the 490 flexalite because it was geared more toward hard wiring to a switch.

 

If you want both to turn on just wire the a/c fan into the regular fan switch, or is there something wrong with your fan switch?

 

Yeah that was the issue when i bought it it had the switch an im not gonna get that far into the electrical side of it.
