Transmission Cooling Line HELP!

The transmission cooling line that goes on the bottom of the radiator is leaking oil. Is there a way to repair the line inlet? I can't find a cooling line for sale at an autoparts store or online (been looking for 3 days). They also have a rubber hose as a replacement but it doesn't seem safe and efficient. I really need the car been using a loner car from my dad. I'm also not interested in getting a seperate cooling system as I only use the car for daily driving no track use or racing. Thanks.

I've used rubber hose many times. I would use at least 2 clamps on each end. Use the correct type of hose. The other option is replace the whole line.

Re: Transmission Cooling Line HELP!

The lines are readily vailable everywhere as "brake line".

The size is 5/16" inverted flare.

Just ask the g00b at the counter at yer local AZ or Advace or whatever, to let you go back and LOOK AT his store's brake line; and pick out a stick of suitable length.

Thanks. I am just iffy about it because of temperature from exhaust and all, have your resisted the heat from it?

Thank you. I have some time tomorrow morning before my 3pm-12am shift and will go buy some and try to get it on.
