Lost temperature sending wire
Hey fellow enthusiasts! I hope this is the correct board to be posting in, I'm fairly new to this site. Joined a year ago but haven't been around to participate like I want.
Anyways, I just rebuilt my engine and in the process of putting it back together, I accidentally pulled on the temperature sending wire that goes to the firewall out. I have been unsuccessful in relocating the pin in the firewall for this and am considering running a whole new gauge in place of it, even though I really want to be able to use my stock gauges. I assume it may be located behind the master cylinder, but I am hesitant on removing it for just one wire.
It is on my 1991 Z-28.
Any suggestions? Pictures?

Re: Lost temperature sending wire
I'm so glad I just found this thread, I've been searching for that wire for awhile, the previous owner gutted the tpi harness and just dropped a junk motor in and left all the wiring jacked. I've had to rewire the whole car almost, the guy actually cut the trans lock-up and cost me $2400. (I went all out, Kevlar bands and clutches)
