okay, not trying to make this seem like a same question different thread, but...
last night i was cruising around, park at a buddies house and heard an odd noise, thought i seen smoke coming from under the hood so i popped it and found out that my coolant was bubbling and steaming. and i can never really tell how hot the motor is because my temperature gauge is broken. but as i was saying, it blew a big crack in the side of my overflow. does anyone know where i can get a new one? and how much one would be? thanks.

 

Try a chevy dealership. My buddy picked up one from a chevy dealership they actually had 3 more in stock too. Now that you reminded me I might go get one just incase.

 

juat any chevy dealership?are they new or old? and about how much do you think one would cost me?

I'd be getting my temp gauge fixed. It sounds like you have a cooling problem.

 

first time its happened to me since i got the car, i think i just ran it hot.

I dont think you got hot, plastic ages gets brittle and brakes, i dont even have mine connected.

 

i found out that my electric fan stopped working. i'm going to look more into it tomorrow.
