so was installing my radiator and i cross threaded the bottom transmission cooler line into the radiator.unscrewed and tried to connect line after i saw my mistake and now the line wont even try to start to go into female part of radiator. what are my options? i really dont want to get a new radiator because of this

 

With a standard SAE inverted flare fitting I would say to straighten out the threads on the male end with a SAE die. Then make note of the dies size and that will tell you the size of tap for the female and see if you can get it to bite. Your dealing with flare fittings and should only be tightened or loosened with a flare nut wrench.
OK, change of plans. I now see there is another option and is called the Bubble or GM Metric Flares. I will need to get a closer look at what I have in the garage. Unless someone can step in and make a correction or verification.

 

That's an inverted flare. The bubble flare has the sealing face the other way around. The end looks like =[ ]<> instead of =[ ]<<

I just got off the phone with a reputable Radiator shop and was told if its striped you done.
Its soft brass or aluminum and cant be taped or died. Unless someone steps in again and says otherwise.
You can get a new radiator that comes with adaptors if needed for $89.99.
This is what I have and is working perfectly. It also came with adapters to use with the transmission lines if nassary and that could be the problem your having in the first place.

even cheaper, bypass the rad altogether and install a small external cooler. Done.
