what water pump?
Hi
I have 1989 TPI with serpentine. Here's a picture:

I have to change water pump. This topic confused me: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cool...tion-part.html
It seems that this engine have a reverse rotation for water pump, so this part, suggested by rockauto.com for my engine, is not correct: https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/mor...nid=305&jpid=0
So what part do I have to buy?
thanks!!

Re: what water pump?
well... Im a bit confused. You answer begins with "251594", but the link you wrote just after refers to "252719".
Im not an expert, what is then the pump I need for my 1989 serpentine TPI?

The 251725 is a NEW AC Delco, not reman'd pump I believe. I bought the same one last year for my 88 GTA, Serp. setup.

Re: what water pump?
Solved. This is ACDelco answer to my email:
<
In regards to your water pump inquiry, both water pumps will fit your vehicle by application. The 251-725 is the OE stock replacement. The OE parts are made specifically for certain vehicles.
The 252-719 is the aftermarket professional line. While the aftermarket will work for your vehicle, it is made to fit a list of multiple vehicles, so it is more economical.
We always recommend using the OE replacement, but either should work for your vehicle.

However, I'm still have the doubt
The most expensive cost mery much in shipping also, and I think the 252- works on both verse. :/

Re: what water pump?
This stuff is practically impossible to find in any place in Italy. The only thing you can do is order from some US site. I'm happy I'm having the cars today, and not ten or twenty years ago :/ Then, one would provide you a new pump for something like 300 euros or more
