radiator fan switches

can anyone help with a photo and part numbers for the switch in the passenger side head? I've got a 1988 5.7 IROC and the switch in mine has a two pin plug and all the ones I've found online are a single pin which I suspect is the one in the block near the knock sensor in earlier models

Re: radiator fan switches

Heres the part numbers and fan"on"temperatures.
Part # TFS8 = 204 on
# TFS4 = 213 on
# TFS1 = 224 on
You should be able to have these part numbers cross referenced if necessary.

You can still use the stock 195* thermostat with these switches.

There are switches available from Jet Performance = # 60600 at 195* on and 185* off.
also
Hypertec = # 4028 at 200* on and 185* off.

I would use a 180* thermoset with either of them.

Re: radiator fan switches

What was the part number for the grand national fan switch that is a direct bolt in for these cars? I think it comes on at 204 F which is what I would want before 220 on primary and 238 on secondary fans.

What's wrong with the one 204 * "on" switch that I listed in the post above.
