Help me spend money on cooling renewal

So When I leaned back the radiator to clean out the condenser I found a lot of the fins on the AC condenser were not in the best of shape. Meaning on a hot day here (99 plus) the car would run hot. Indicated over 230 and the AC would not cool.
So I think I need to have the condenser changed out. So if I'm going to have the radiator out I might as well change it also. It has been in the car at least 10 years, the time I've had the car. Most likely many more years than that.

So I am asking for opinions on what to buy. Known that there is lots of ideas and products.

I am listing what I think I would like to change out and welcome any help and brands and where to buy items. Hopefully this will help other members with questions .

AC condenser

Radiator( Original 1 row?) I am leaning to just using a original type.
Have a oil cooler in car.

Thermostat (have a newer 195 in car)

Radiator cap( newer stant in car)

Hoses are new

Pump has a little over 3000 miles on it.

Car 1990 GTA 305 with a 5 speed. AC and a oil cooler. Not modified.

Thanks in advance

Bob

All aluminium radiator

170 thermostat

New chip to lower fan set points to 180/190

Whatever A.C. parts you need to get that working. Condensor to insure good airflow to rad.

Doing some research on the radiator. Are radiators hard to find with fittings for engine oil coolers. Most seem to have fittings for trans coolers.

You can use the trans cooler for engine oil if you want to... You won't find one with a specific engine oil cooler since they didn't do that from the factory I don't think. The oil cooler usually has coolant running through it, not sending oil to the radiator....

With modern synthetics, and a nice high capacity pan you don't need an oil cooler anyway.

Re: Help me spend money on cooling renewal

I don't have experience with that one specifically but I bought a similar "cheap" Chinese unit from eBay and didn't end up using it at all because the fitment was so poor. I'm waiting to hear on the fitment of these:

https://www.holley.com/products/cool...rs/parts/FB189

I might end up buying one when they come out in July just to see for myself.

There are other options if you look around here on the forum, etc.

I can almost guarantee fitment will be terrible with that Amazon unit.

Champion has a heater hose fitting that should work with the factory oil cooler.Had one set up that way with my old motor.
