Fan issue

Hi Everyone,

My 88 GTA is having an issue with the fans. They were not working when I bought the car. My mechanic got the car roadworthy for me and it was running fine until yesterday, when i noticed it was running hot> Come to find out the fans were not running. We have already went back to stock relays, and I've checked fuses and none are burned out. Does anyone have any other ideas what I could try for next troubleshooting, before considering a new cooling system? Thanks in advance

Re: Fan issue

Try grounding the wire going to the fan with with the ignition on. See if the fan turns on if it does then it is probably your fan switch. Also our factory gauges suck with a factory fan switch my gauge showed 260+ when it was really only 235 when the fan came on.
