So I had the heater core removed and a new one installed, while also replacing the radiator. Two issues came up: The head to the transmission cooling line was stripped, though it finally did come off.
The second line is stripped as well, and it’s the only thing holding me back from removing the old radiator.
I would like some feedback. Should I just cut it and replace the entire line of both lines? Should I cut the ends off and maybe do some kind of AN fitting? The new radiator is a Champion 3 core radiator (got it on sale!) I’m open to suggestions.
You can buy them new and pre-bent. I would just cut the old line and install new stainless lines. AN fittings are nice but require some fab work to make them fit with adapters and such.
