Coolant leak at Firewall (Not heater core) 85 Z28 383stroker

There seems to be a steady coolant leak on my passenger side that runs down or very near the firewall. I know for a fact it's not the heater core since I just replaced it and there's no liquid inside the car and none under the heater core hoses. My question is, what else should I check? And I am certain it is coolant leaking.
also note that I just replaced my headers so it's running on open headers and the car is smoking up after running for 2mins. I believe the coolant has to be hitting the headers and then causing the smoke when the headers warm up. There's no y pipe connected as well. What else could it possibly be?

Intake manifold gaskets or freeze plugs would be my guess.

It could be metal pipe that runs near firewall to radiator(pipe n 2 at picture) https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/atta...osediagram.jpg

Did you reuse the old hose?
Use this type of hose clamp.
You can clearly see why from the pic.
