Have 730 ECM, SD harness and ...TBI intake setup
Seems to me it should work, huh?
My thoughts are that TBI injectors are about 2ohms each, in parallel should be about 1ohm ..16 TPI injectors at 16-18ohms each, come out about the same.
Reason I want to run it this way is I stumbled across a complete TBI setup, minus harness and ECM (which I already have the above mentioned SD stuff).
Starting from a stock tune in the prom, do I have a chance?
Motor is basically stock (non-thirdgen) to be tweaked as needed/upgraded.
Thanks.

The 749 ecm however has 2 injector drivers and is compatible with the dual TBI.
I have run a TBI with a 749, and it did work, but ran out of time for fully tuning it.
Be advised thou, that most any calibration you begin with for a 749 is for a TPI, which is a dry manifold, vs TBI which is wet, so you'll probably have to make some drastic AE changes.

A 730 will not run a TBI ...I tried and could not make it work.
Just to save you a little time and trouble.

That's good info...I was trying to use up some stuff I've collected.
I guess ths old beast will just have to go with 8 injectors instead of two.
