Transmission: 700r4 in the sports coupe-turbo-350 with a 2500 stal in the berlinetta
Is the zz4 conversion chip a good choice for the lg4

I was thinking of adding a performance chip.Would the zz4 chip be a good choice?any draw backs? Thanks

Get the ZZZ installation booklet. Then the ecm, prom, and update to the knock sensing stuff if your car doesn't have it.
Get the needles to complete the deal are hard to find, but the 4.1L Buick carb'd engines have some that are real close.

Doug Roe has a book about Q-Jets that you should get if you don't have it.

Some years ago GM had a replacement engine package for putting the ZZZ engine in 3rd gens in a legal manner. The installation booklet was available seperately and had all sort of info and part nos in it.

probably your best bet is to check on ebay.....

you might also hang around a couple monte carlo websites, they have a wealth of information pertaining to the carbs and staying emissions legal.

i'm not at home right now, but i'm pretty sure i have a couple links dealing with tuning an lg4 and l69 motor for performance and emissions legality. i'll double check when i get home, and post what i have. i think i even found the links here by doing a search.
