No tachometer

Hi!
After installing the new msd 6al and a msd coil the tachometer wont work,i have check groundings but cant find anything.
The car runs,i tried to swap back the old stuff but still no tachometer.
Could it be the ecm that been damage or were does the signal to the tachometer comes from.
This is very iritating,it seemes to be a new problem after every mod.
Thanks for any replayes.

The white wire from the coil with the flat connector is the tach signal. When using an MSD you may need to use an adaptor for the tach.

Or, try the 'tach out' wire on the MSD unit. I believe that there is an output from the MSD unit that will run the tach. If it doesn't work then the adaptor is required.

Ok thanks!
I tried to reinstall the old coil whithout msd,but still no tach.
Could the tachometer have been damage? Can you messure that the signal is there some how?One of the white cables from the coil are thinner than the other ,is that the tachcable do you think?
Thanks again!
