Hi, 1. Why is DFI listed in a board separate from "Alternative Port EFI Intakes?" 2. What, exactly, is the difference between the PROMs discussed in the DIY PROM board, and the ECM? From what I read, they both seem to have the smae function... Thanks for any help, please don't flame.

 

DFI & ECM is about aftermarket and stock ECMs. Alternative Port EFI Intakes is about the induction systems for port fuel injection. Such as the Holley stealth ram, TPIS Mini Ram, and Accel/Lingenfelter Super Ram. Of which many different ECMs can control.

The DIY_PROM board is about tuning EFI setups.
