Prom Change Question

Hi ;

I just received my customized prom from tpiparts ;

It has egr,smog,9th injector disabled. I have disabled egr and 9th injector on the engine however I haven't got my smog pump delete pulley yet. Should wait to install my smog pump delete pulley or can I install my new chip with the stock smog pump in place?

Thanks

Re: Prom Change Question

Shouldn't hurt anything to put the delete pulley on. Because of NY Inspection laws, I have to have a Smog pump, Cat, PVC on the car. The smog pump shouldn't kick off a check engine light. Only thing that is computer tied in is the air diverter valve. For future reference, You can buy all the equipment from Moates.net to Burn your own chips and give your car a computer tune up. Save your money and don't pay these companies to burn chips which only takes around 3 minutes to configure and 10 sec to burn.
