HyperTech.

I have an 84 z-28 l69 is it worth it for me to get a chip. i removed all of the emissions control and tore that stupid Q-jet off and threw a holley 600 double pumper on i just dont see the significance of a chip nothin other than like a tuned port or TBI setup.

Re: HyperTech.

If you took off the computer-controlled carb and put on a Holley, then what do you have left the computer is controlling?
And no, chips are practically worthless on a carb car. Every generic off the shelf chip like JET or Hypertech is practically worthless on every thirdgen.
