85 ECM & HARNESS

I was looking for a wiring harness for my 85 IROC TPI 305 and seen this on Ebay...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...%3D1%26fvi%3D1

does this look like a setup out of an 85?

Re: 85 ECM & HARNESS

can somebody please look at the picture of the ECM in the link and tell me if the numbers that are on the ECM are the ones refering to an ECM for an 85 TPI? (if those are actually the numbers needed)

I am not so much interested in the ECM, but I am needing a harness for an 85 TPI. And if it shows that it is actually from an 85 then the harness should be also.

Re: 85 ECM & HARNESS

why don't you just buy a 86 harness ???? The ecm's in them were faster and did away with the 85's expensive and problematic maf burnoff relay

Re: 85 ECM & HARNESS

I plan on upgrading my ECM and all when I get a 350 to put in. But right now I just need the harness to hold me for a while until the funds for the major upgrade are available.

Re: 85 ECM & HARNESS

you can buy a 86 harness for what that thing cost's and a used 7165 ecm is cheap. Heck I will sell you a 86 tpi harness for 45.00 shipped LOL

Re: 85 ECM & HARNESS

does away with the expensive problematic 85 piggyback burnoff module for one. and the 86 ecm was a faster system
