turbocharging my s-10, need help w\ ecm

Im putting a syty turbo on my stock 94 s-10. ive been talking to the guys over at s-10forum.com, they told me to come over here and see what you guys think i should do about the computer. Im going to be running 8psi, and a boost refernced FPR. Ill also be using 350 injectors. I bought the BURN1 chip burner and the tunerpro software so i should have that this week sometime. I have been tuning ls1's for a while now using HPtuners, so im not exactly a newb to tuning, ive just never been inside of anything like this before... i also have a wideband 02 that i will be using. thanks for anyhelp. Also, a step by step big bird and barny style explanation would be the best

You might consider switching it to MAF, like I have done.

i was recently reminded that i need my stock computer for my transmission since it is the 4l60e... so i guess the syty computer is out of the question. Is there anyway on gods green earth that i can get my stock computer to read a 2-bar MAP effectively??

It would take some severe code modification, which is why I suggested MAF. MAF is already being used on the 427 PCM with an electronic transmission. You can get the late model GM plastic body 85mm MAF off ebay or at a local junkyard for under $50.00 in most cases. Grab the connector too. Splice 2 extra wires into the drac harness, run them to the PCM. Plumb the MAF, install the MAF wiring. Put Dimented24x7s Code on the chip and go for it. The MAF will read to somewhere around 500 RWHP.

Also, what happens to the MAP tables?? do i still need to tune them? or are they dissabled? or are they both used and the MAF takes over after the MAP is out of its range? Like i said, i havent been inside of one of these ecm's yet, im still waiting on some hardware to come in the mail before i can actually start to tune.

You can buy a stand alone computer for your transmission. http://www.suncoastconverters.com/co...pushiftgm.html

Then you can switch to a 749...life is good, do ya see the rainbow?
