If the ecm is from a 90-92 camaro the biggest thing you will need to do is check out the fuel supply. It takes more fuel pressure to run FI than it does a carb. If the engine your getting is TPI it needs more than TBI. If the car still has the fuel pump in the tank and your putting in a TBI engine you should be fine.

Re: How hard
It depends on what the guy cut when he changed it to a carb. If your going backwith the same setup that came in that car and you have the ecm and wiring harness you should be able to hook every thing back like it was. You may have to get the flex fuel lines that run from the frame up to the throttle body but it all depends on the the other guy did when he changed it over. If he was using a mechanical fuel pump you will need to get an electric pump. Its possible he left the stock pump in the tank and you will need to make sure it works.
Again, it all depends on what he did to change it to a carb. Look the car over and see whats been cut and whats missing and we can tell you more. What your doing shouldn't be a problem.

Re: How hard
I know he has the stock fuel pump in there cuz its pushing to much fuel through my carb right now so it just runs rich all the time. But i don't think he really change to fuel lines to it b/c everything i looked at under the hood seems in the right order so to speak.

Re: How hard
if the reason you want to go back to FI is because of too much fuel pressure you could just get a regulator and adjust it to have the 4 or 5 psi needed for the carb.
Re: How hard
No actually i wanna do fuel injection because i wanna do something that ive never done to a car before i mean i've changed a V6 S-10 to a V8 S-10, Small block to big block then done a v6 to v8 swap etc... then heres my idea of going from carb'd to fuel injection so i figure i wanna add that to my rep.

Re: How hard
As far as I am concerned Fuel Injection is the ONLY way to go. I have a 1978 Boat (look in my garage for pic) that has a 350 carbed engine and I been thinking about putting the TPI on it since I have the HSR for the Camaro now.
1 key thing to remember with FI, do not buy Wells brand sensors like Autozone sells. I have had more problems from that than anything else.
Go for the swap and know that if you have problems someone on here can and will help you figure it out.
