Need help with diag
Hello,
Have a 85 firebird 2.8l, multi-port fuel injected, MAF, and having some very strange showings via data logging.
Car seems to run mostly fine it does expereince the odd surging here or there and the mpg has dropped drastically, but outside of these things things are generally smooth and well working.
Everything on this thing has been replaced just about, MAF, MAT, TPS, Coolant Sensor, and O2 sensor within the last year.
My data logging is showing the following:
1. Closed loop is never obtained.
2. BLM seems to be cycling from 20's - high 200's and repeating. (What in the world is going on here)
3. Code 34 is present.
4. Rich flag is set, low battery is set, DRP occured is set, clear flood comes and goes.
5. Error codes 44 and 45 cycle in and out o2 lean/rich
6. O2 levels seem to be too low and too high according to manual they should stay between .35 and .55, I am seeing from 0.049 - 0.9 volts.
I really don't know where to start with this, I've tried to disconnecting the MAF, and clearing codes, and logging data, nothing changes.
