Re: Reading this ecm

Its not the from the "ECM" you scan, its from the *.bin in the chip so you need to find out what code the chip is. Is it a TPI or TBI car? MAF or MAP?

or take a look on the 4 letters on the sticker on the original EPROM.

Did some search on the ECM nbr and is a MAF ECM (1227165) so depending on what year the car/EPROM is you need to scan it with a $32 or $32B or $6E def file. TTS will work fine or Tunerpro...............

Re: Reading this ecm

I'm abit confused....

The ACD # 88999194 ECM seems to be a ECM for a 86-89 TPI car = MAF system.

But you wrote that the ecm is a 1227730? Which ECM does he have?

1227730 or 88999194? MAF or MAP?

Re: Reading this ecm

OK , then you can use TTS DM32x32 program or Tunerpro to scan the car.

Re: Reading this ecm

Hi!
I could only find DM35X32 at TTS.

And if it is the DM 35X32 were do you put the resistor like it says:
NOTE: 86-89 LB9 and L98 vehicles require 10K resistor modification in the interface.
I asume right over the aldl pins.
