need help with splicing ignition switch for FAST harness

Hey I diid a search and didn't find what I was looking for, I have a FAST dfi and I was wondering what the best place to splice into for the 12 volt ignition switch...says should be spliced in where power is given during starting and running postion??? Also can I splice my msd box (7AL-2) ign. Switch port to this same splice as the dfi?

Thanks for any and all help

Dave

Re: need help with splicing ignition switch for FAST harness

Should be some IGN openings in the fuse block (to left of drivers foot). I can't recall exactly what I used to tap in, but a male fast-on tab comes to mind. Note that some are BAT, which is battery power (on all of the time).

It is best to test the tap by putting the ignition key into the ACC position. If there is power on that tap then do not used it. It will be cold during cranking.

A quick summary, there are three types of power feeds:

BAT, battery power, hot all of the time.
IGN, ignition switched, hot during key-on and cranking.
ACC, accessory switched, hot during accessory-on and key-on, cold during cranking.

RBob.

Niether, its model # 30-213311....sequential fuel injection...pretty much same as big stuff 3 just nitrous friendly over boost friendly....I had BS3 but traded for this ecm,600 bux and a msd 7al-2 box..from a buddy that was boosting his car
