Any one use it, if so how do you program a SST 27SF512 chip
I select the SST 27SF512 chip in the program, erase it and
select my bin and program lt programs it, but when I put
it in my car the fans go on, so it's
in limp home mode. what am I doing wrong

Re: pocket programmer 2
Here is what pocket programmer web site had to say
To program a 27SF512 chip from a 27C256 file
select 27SF512
Set start of device to 8000
Load buffer with a 27C256 sized file (you can check the file size - right click on the file and select properties it should say 32K (32K*8 = 256K)
program chip
set start of device to 0000 so you don't screw up on your next chip.
If you have problems with this - please don't call us.
