ecm chip change

Hey guys dumb question but I don't have my Camaro right now to figure it out.
What tools do I need to get to the ecm and take the little plate off to change chips. I know its a Phillips screw driver then some tiny little bolts but I can't remember the size of the bolt heads. Thanks

7mm to remove the access cover and 10 mm for the bracket bolts.

Re: ecm chip change

If this is your '91, the ECM is likely in a slide mount. Push the bottom of the ECM toward the front of the car, should hear the velcro let go.

Once it clears the bottom ledge of the mount pull it straight down. Then the two screws (1/4" hex head if stock) for the small cover to access the chip.
