What causes the ECM to stop communicating?
I have a 1991 Firebird Convertible 3.1L. I bought this car in November. I'm trying to get it running again but I have no injector pulse. After a bunch of searching around I hooked up the scan tool.
Not only do I not have injector pulse the ECM isn't seeing the Throttle position, RPM, neutral safety switch and it thinks the collant is -39 degrees F.
Also the check engine, battery, security are all dark. the only light on the dash that comes on is the airbag light.
All under dash fuses OK'd with a test light and Ignition module replaced.
Any ideas?

I'd be looking for a bad ground or bad fuseable link. Something somewhere is not making the contact it should for all those problems to happen.
