Help me identify these injectors

It seems the pre-owner changed out some of the injectors.
I think the grey ones are the stock, but im not sure what the black ones are?
Car is a 1991 TPI vette.

Re: Help me identify these injectors

I'll say that the greenish-gray one on the right is a Multec. Looks like every other one I've seen. I have also seen Multecs with a black body, but the form factor was identical to the greenish-gray one.

That is the lengths of the various lower portions and angles.

One thing about the left injector, the lower number on it appears to be a Lucas number. But the injector doesn't have the right shape, at least to me. Maybe RP contracted out some injectors to Lucas?

Anyway, upgrade and be done with it. Multec's have no reason to be used in an engine.

Re: Help me identify these injectors

Get some Bosch injectors, even the older fat body ones will work. Which particular one I can't say. Not sure what the junk yard scene is like in Sweden, but there are a lot of cars made & sold in Europe that use Bosch injectors.

From the Stan Weiss list here is some possibilities (there are even more in the list):

0-280-150-432 22.85 #/hr Saab 4-2.0l, 4-2.3l
0-280-150-433 22.85 #/hr Hyundai
0-280-150-440 23.8 #/hr BMW 6-2.8l
0-280-150-447 22.9 #/hr Audi 4-1.8l Turbo, VW 4-1.8l Turbo

Note that the Bosch injectors have the art number molded into the top portion, makes them easy to ID.

Re: Help me identify these injectors

Thanks!

I found these ones on a Swedish junkyard site.

0-280-150-432:

http://www.bildelsbasen.se/?link=ite...st_id=24709916

0-280-150-440:

http://www.bildelsbasen.se/?link=ite...st_id=20689129

$14 each

Will those have the correct flow with the stock 1991 TPI fuelpressure?
I think the stock fuel pressure is 40 to 42 psi with vacuum hose connected and 47 to 48 psi with the vacuum hose disconnected.

Also, im at 300hp at the crank give or take, would they flow enough?

THanks

If they're 24 lb/hr, they should be able to support that.

devilfish...the black injector is a Rochester...just as bad as the multec! lol
If you're running 300hp ULTM8Z is correct...24's should be fine

About the Bosch injectors that RBob mention.
Is it possible to get the injector offset table from Bosch on those injectors?
Any tips on where I can find this info?

Or if I get even better injectors from you at Southbay fuel injectors, can you provide me with that info?

Cheers
