hyper-tech chips
hyper-tech chips
got a Stock 85 tpi with usual free/lowcost mods (gutted air-box,k&n, maf screens&fins, airfoil, 160* thermo, cooling fan on toggle switch, bosch 4's," modified" cat, bumped timing, 92 octane, etc.) How much performance gain might I see with either a Hypertech "Streetrunner" or "Thermomaster " chip? Is it worth $$$$$ Ya got anything good OR bad to say about them ? I'd appreciate your input. Thankx.

they have you use a lower temp thermostat to ARTIFICALLY richen the engine, and they change the fan temps.
If you wanted a good chip you'd investigate doing your own.
