Engine: 400 CID 4 bbl & 5.0 TPI
Transmission: Turbo 400 & 4 Speed Auto
Updated prom for ecm
Has anyone heard of an updated Prom for ecm for an 85 T/A, 305 TPI which is number 1227741?? If so, please forward any info you know about it PLEASE!!

Not sure what that number is but the ecm service number is a 1226870.
I far as I know there was not any bulletin on and updated bcc for 85.

If you have a 1227747 ecm someone has swapped in a truck tbi ecm.

Please excuse my ignorance on this. Does that mean it is an updated prom, and should be something I should be getting, or, is there a better suggestion?? BTW, thanks for your replies!

I have the original prom that came in the car. My mechanic told me this was an update for the original.....

You would need the previous bcc to see if the hll is a superceeded part.
