MAP sensor install on SuperRam

Hey Gang,
Plan on installing the EBL ecm and trying to get a full handle on this.
I see the hole for the vacuum fitting for the MAP. Anyone know which fitting is needed? Plan on adding a blower in the future. Can I use a Map2 on an NA engine for now? It's an LPE 383 with Trickflow ported heads and superram.

Re: MAP sensor install on SuperRam

Seems like any port that's exposed to full manifold vacuum 100% of the time would be adequate for the MAP sensor.

Any one of the ports on the map mounting surface will work. They are all manifold vacuum.
The nipples for hvac and map can reused from tpi.

Do the new style small map sensors work with the rubber bung direct into the manifold or is their output different?

I don’t know the size of hole the newer style map uses. I think the map uses the same 5v signal.

For a 1-bar MAP the small form factor 16165793 matches up with the 3rd Gen EFI MAP sensors. That is the output voltage versus manifold pressure.

Re: MAP sensor install on SuperRam

I tried using one in a first startup but had some other issues and needed to put in known sensors. Ended up never going back as the pigtail was changed- very nice size tho.
