I'm at the point in my 383 engine build where it's time to connect the EBLP4 Flash which uses the 7730 ECM using a 1992 wiring harness from Larry's Electric. Since I chose an LS style 92mm throttle body, it has the IAC motor and TPS sensor which are different connector styles. No problem there as I can rewire, but is the 7730 capable of driving these 2 without any issues? The IAC and TPS are 1998 Camaro parts.
Re: LS style Throttle Body sensors and the '7730 ECM
Forgive me for the delay, I'm old.
Here's a pic where I've wired in the TPS with heat shrink and am about to apply heat shrink to the IAC wires. TPS and connector were color coded, no problem there? The IAC I wired up the best I could but it could be backwards? I don't think that matters?
Re: LS style Throttle Body sensors and the '7730 ECM
Besides looking at a wiring schematic to see what the cavity letters go to as far as coil a and b. You can command in the iac and use a iac tester to see if it’s correct.
Re: LS style Throttle Body sensors and the '7730 ECM
Tuned, your first schematic jives with the info I have which I posted a capture below for comparison. Made me realize I never even paid attention to the pin designations on the connectors. Resto-mod different than everyday tech stuff! I'm liking it.
Re: LS style Throttle Body sensors and the '7730 ECM
So, I've done it wrong and will have to rewire. What our schematics show for the IAC connector wiring is:
A: LT BLU-WHT
B: LT BLU-BLK
C: LT GRN-WHT
D: LT GRN-BLK
What confuses me is your second schematic which has the pins like this:
