Anybody using a Summit LS throttle body?
I have a Summit throttle body, (LS style) it is brand new and I am having trouble getting a throttle position sensor to slide on to the shaft easily. I have broken two of them already and am trying to eliminate it from happening again. I tried the Summit chat, they couldn't help me, I called tech, they were closed so I have written them an email but I really don't expect to get any real help. Does the tps fit real tight on a GM throttle body? Any light you can shed on this would be appreciated.

Re: Anybody using a Summit LS throttle body?
Do you have a link to the TB your using? Also, the TPS for the LS TBs is quite a bit different than the older TPS sensors. It should use the newer style with a round plug. They also use a different IAC. It has 2x the step count of the older IACs (320 vs. 160 steps). Your ECM will have trouble seating and resetting the IAC as it has 8-bit IAC logic.

Here you go, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-227724/overview/
I bought the IAC & TPS both for 2000 Camaro. I have the 165 ecm.
