code 43 engine running poorly

Hi all. This is my first time posting in this forum so lmk if I'm posting this in the wrong spot. I've got a 1991 firebird formula with the 305 tbi and a manual trans. The issue I'm having is that when I'm driving, it kind of stutters and I lose a ton of power. The engine just starts ******* and even at WOT it barely has enough power to get to highway speeds. I replaced the coolant temp sensor, distributer, and knock sensor based on what I saw in some forums but it didn't help at all. I got a aldl cable and logged some data through winaldl that I'm going to attach. I'm not exactly sure what to look for but I was hoping someone on here would have some ideas about what to do. It's been throwing code 43 this whole time and the only real fix I've seen anywhere was a modified chip that removes code 43 totally. I'm attaching the txt file and the excel sheet.

Re: code 43 engine running poorly

When does the SES and code 43 pop up? If right away, that is run away knock counts. (broken wire, bad ESC module).

If it occurs during/after heavy throttle that is a failure of the forced knock test.

During an active code 43 the ECM retards the spark all of the time. Hence the bad performance. Search this forum along with the TBI forum here for posts of mine along with 'forced.' I've posted quite a bit of information regarding code 43 issues.

On my Winaldl data my knock counts were ridiculous so I'm going with bad esc module for now. I can't find anything like that online but is NAPA part ESC216 the right thing to replace? That's what I was going to get.
