A chip to pass emissions

My emissions test is coming up and I want to burn a chip to put in just for the emissions test. Can anyone tell me what I can change to help my car run cleaner? Like what should I do the timing tables? I don’t care if my car runs really slow with this chip. I just need it to pass.

If you've done your chip right, it should pass.
If in doubt, then use a stock .bin file.

Fresh oil change.
As hgh as idle as possible.
Hot thermostat,
are also good ideas.

Its also a good idea to back off the base timing.

What worked for me:Leaning the inj constant, raise the tps% for pe,locked up the torque converter at the stock mph high and low,195tstat and of course a tuneup/oilchange/iac reset.I have a "dyno" type emissions though. If it's the idle type of test the latest chip you have should do.Unless your smoking most cars will pass the idle test w/o cats(I have mine). Those methods got me lower emissions than my sisters tercel. It worked for me but it's not a blueprint.Grumpy is right,it should pass if your chip is close.I just did all that stuff so I would'nt have to go back.If it did fail they would look under the hood. Then I would have had to explain the air inj delete option my car came with . For the most part the air injection seems like a fail attempt at lowering emissions.A dinosaur of the 80's.Hell I dont know but thats what I did.
