TPI Manual Transmission .Bin
I am in the process of tuning my manual transmission car. Problem: When shifting gears, the map pressure falls to a point that corresponds to a greatly advanced area on my timing curve, causing a backfire and making me generally sad. Anyone have a bin I can look at to resolve this issue?

APYP might be a good starting point if you haven't tried it already. I'm running it in my car, and haven't had any issues with backfires... but then again, I didn't have any backfire issues with ARAP or even my stock 305 auto chip either.

With your 355 I'd start with the vette speed density manual bin. I think it is AXCN if my memory serves me right. There was a thread a couple months ago asking about the vette manual transmission .bin try a search for it.

If you try to use a vette manual bin then you will get a check engine light due to the oil temp sensor which we don't have on the f-bods.

Is there a way in tunercat to turn this off? Also, I would assume I he could just use the timing tables, right? Can anyone confirm the exact bin?

Yeah you can just uncheck the oil temp error box. Here is a thread with some info. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...tte+manual+bin
