need help with 730-749

i have a 730 i wired up as a 749 using the sunbird schematics. the problem i am having is i have zero injector fire. im going to double check with a noid light tommorow for sure. ive been over my wiring harnes 10 times doing voltage pin checks continuity. my only though at this point is the fact that i dont have a 749 memcal is what is cuasing my issue. anyone have any good insight into this issue ?? or are there pin changes that i am unaware of?ive searched the arcives but ive seen no info other than to pin and wire it up like a 749 is this info accurate ?

yo.... the 730 only has 1 injector driver in it.. the 749 has 2 and therefore can use 4 P/H style injectors. the 730 cannot do P/H's. err well it could do 2...maybe
Your gonna need a 749 for P/H injection, of switch to Sat injectors and wire it like a SyTy. cheers, Bob

ok onto the good news. i got the car running and its running quiet well. the factory sunbird code is pretty close to what the honda motor wanted blm and int are just about 128 everywhere. i geuss using 27lb pr injectors with the rom helped. anyways doenst need to much tunning but the timing table is a bit more aggrsive than i need. anyways ill keep youll all post on whats happening with it. been a very fun project.

Painless Wiring makes a 2 pulse per rev(early tpi, tbi) and a 4 pulse per rev(late tpi) that go in-line with the speedo cable. It's not very big, but it might have some interference with firewall/floorboard in some applications, I had to put a slight bump in the floorboard in a regal. So you are using this ecm on a honda, are you using the spark control? how are you interfacing the distributor? sounds like an interesting project.
