rpm limit in prom

I'm new a this and right now I'm looking on the tables in winbin. The tables for the prom I have here show that rpm only goes to 6400.
If I have an engine which can rev higher, can I change this an put in a larger rpm range. If yes, what is required.

Thanks

Yves

No you cant change the RPM tuning limit in the computer that I know about. If you're spinning the engine higher, you'll have to fudge the numbers in that last column.

It is possible but hard to do. You need to know how to program source code to expand the table.

the ecm will contiune to rev higher then the last table entry. however that last cloum and row will be the last value it uses. you will have to use PE enrichment to add more fuel above the 6400rpm , 110kpa

thx,

A new question for you funstick.

What is PE enrichment. Is this the same as a pumpshot on a carb ?

Thanks

It's not PE enrichment. PE stands for power enrichment so it's redundant to add it. There is power enlean but that's an oxymoron so what's the point . There are different forms of PE and ecm's go about it differently. Some estimate set AFRs assuming the BLMs are 128 under heavy or quick throttle while others just keep the current BLM in the last cell and reset the INT. PE is kind of like a carbs pump shot or accel enrich fuel but in the ecm there are tables for both. pump shot for the compensations needed to avoid a lean burn (hesitation backfire through intake etc.) and then tables for WOT AFR vs diff. TPS. Lots of things and plenty confusing.

Power Enrichment Fuel toAir adder is just that ,you are adding more fuel for powerenrichment mode or WOT Above what is already set in you VE table.
Its nothing like Pumpshot in a carb-That is the equal to accel enrichment.
PE Adder would be like putting larger jets on the secondaries
or drilling high speed air bleeds.

Hmm, so you've found out how to get by the rev limiter setting at 6375 on the Masks that use rev limiting?.

I fail to see how fuel has anything to do with the rev limit, where implimented.

Must be one of em, a Birdie told you, things.
