Sorry,

I'm working in a 87-90 V6 730 ECM scanner. It's different.

This V6 thread has the info about my Diagnostic Scanning Software which I've named "AUTOLINK".

The last post includes a download site with the files (Autolink.zip).

If the datastream is not the same you will see some bad calculations, for example: Vehicle Speed: 500 Kmh with 25 RPMs and 1000 ºC temperature, etc.

I hope it works,

Ok, I think that you have already sent that to me. I will have to try it out tomorrow, or later since I'm getting underway here very soon to go bomb some open ocean or something.

I don't mean to be an *** here, but don't you think you ought to give source code credit to where credit is due?

This Scanning Software source code was based on an old C. Moates's stuff. The datastream is completely different.

Exactly, but the splash screen and source code don't give that impression...

Craig doesn't strike me as the type to ask you to credit his work, but in my opinion your source code and splash screen should say "AUTOLINK, written by Craig Moates, modified by Denis V. for use with V6 ALDL". Or something like that.

Oh, and thanks for making public a V6 enabled version of Craig's code. Top notch...

O.K., no problem with this.

All the comments are welcome here (please, note that this software is only a preliminary version).

And thanks again,

Denis V.
