Do you have a socket problem on the ECM? The romulator should work in any ECM, there is nothing magic about any of them as far as I know. Have you contacted the guys at xtronix about it?

After using mine with TunerCAT RT, I don't know how I could live without one anymore.

Have you talked to George?.
Not Karl or the Gal answering the phone.
If so what did he say.

they had no idea, told me to talk to tunercat... tunercat says the same thing..

Remeber i had a post asking if anyone else coudl get it to work. I know the units not bad cause it works for everything else i try it on.

Tired of messing with it really. ON the 93.. if the chip isn't right it sometimes does really funky things like pulse the injectors with out the motor running.. It did this when i was testing a switcher adatper for craig and sometimes when i play with the RT... it sucks because the time it did it with craigs adapter bythe time i went to start the car there was so much fuel in the motor it hydrolocked and broke the nose off the starter.

I guess maybe the 93's have a speed issue or something, maybe the long ribbon isn't fast enough (would sorta explain why the switcher adater doesn't work either)

Sounds like it could be a ground problem, have you checked the ground cable from the engine to the frame or firewall? There are a couple of grounds from the ECM too. I don't think your ECM should ever fire the injectors without getting a signal from the distributor. That would be a serious safety concern to the lawyers at GM, and they would have issued a safety recall long ago if it were a common problem.
