Does anyone have easy step by step PPII Instructions?

Does anyone have a break down of all the options on the PPII? I need some easy to read instructions. I have been trying to get this thing to burn a chip. It claims to have done it. I burn it and then copy the bin off the chip and save it to hard drive. I then open it with Tuner Pro and it is identical to the one that I burned on it. I have no idea what this mask id does! Tuner Pro shows the AA which I thought it meant it was disabled. I run out and put the chip in the car and all it does is go in limp mode. I am trying to burn a chip for my 1991 Z28. I am using the aujp and 730 $8d ecu. All I want to do is tuned the car for the 24 lb injectors and no EGR. I just need someone to walk me through this one time and I will be good to go. Any help will be appreciated. BranZ

If you can read it, copy it back, and it matches, then it's been burnt.

Setting the AA disables the checksum.

If the chip reads right, and you have AA set, then it sounds like your problem is what ever it is your using as an adapter (if your using one), with the ecm. Yes, the first time thru things can be frustrating.

Hey. When I burned a chip for my car I had to stack the bin for the chip I was using. I know when you don't have a chip in the car goes into Limp mode. Perhaps it can't find the program on the chip.

Goto Craig Moates' site and download a program called Bincomp. Run it and load your bin into each of the 16 slots. Run the program and it should produce a large 512K file. Burn this large file to the chip. See if this helps you out.

Link for it...

PS I'm assuming you're running a large 512K chip.
