Effects of incorrect Cyl Displacement?
Can anyone tell me what effects I may encounter with too small a Cylinder Displacement setting will have?
It was set for 712 CCs. But my BBC is at 833.
A 15% difference!

'730 and a TBI- interesting combination- I hope someone's worked out how to make it drive P&H injectors. What mask ID are you running?
IIRC, some masks don't have anything change with cylinder size, while in others, 15% too small a cylinder size, and you have 15% too little fuel. The masks I'm familiar with use an injector constant that's based on L/gm per sec, and it's critical to be correct, but YMMV.
It probably won't hurt to use the right number (unless the wrong one has been used as a kludge).

Thanks for the reply.
I am not sure if these are P/H injectors or what they are for that matter.
This will only affect high-rpm runnings- right?
How can I check all this stuff? Grumpy said something similar in another post about this combo....
Something about changing my drivers???
------------------------------
I had my VEs all set, then I went and changed the cyl volume.
Now it's all lean
I thought if I made the cylinders bigger, it MIGHT ADD fuel...
On the plus side, after an initial stumble this evening it TOOK OFF like I never felt before! WOohooo!
Then it went back to an idle and flooded itself to a stall.
Before the intial stumble was a LEAN fuel condition. It may still be a problem with the PE. I didn't log the accelerations, I was just trying to get my VEs settled.
But now I lost my placement in my BINs.
I got the dates and times mixed up.
Back to the drawing board.
