We have a '89 TransAm GTA, 165 ECM and are using the $6E mask.

We have tried burning what we think is a stock BIN from www.truspeed.org/bins.html onto the last 4000 segments of a 27SF512 EPROM chip. This site was recommended in this thread:- https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...readid=220745. (We also tried http://www.efi-tuning.org/bins and http://www.moates.net/fileman but found them much less user friendly.)

When we do this the car will not start.

When we burn this bin onto the last 4000 segments of a *Atmel 29C256* the car WILL start but the SES does not go off and we aren't too sure if the car is in Limp Home Mode or not. Also, when we bidge terminals A and B of the Dig.port it does not blink out a code.

We are using G1 adaptor from Craig Moates. However, we also have the G3 adaptor should we be using that instead?

Could we be using the wrong mask?
