The 60 Is Officially Alive ! ! !!

While, I've had the car running on the Source Code generated .bin files, between lil mistakes, and the cal being off, it's taken some time to get it to what I'd call CORRECT. And this morning I'd call it CORRECT.

I've begun typing in the tuning notes, but still have a long way to go on fully commenting the code. I'm going to use human friendly table names, so when opened in WordPad, just using Find gets you to where you want to be.

This is sweet.

Yeah Grumpy!!!
You are The MAN!
It will run in the 730 or 749.

It's not just me. While I've put the most time into, there is a contributing list of folks that without their guidance and tolerance for dumb, and often repeated guestions, this woundn't have happened.

There's a full list of contributors in the header to the .asm document, about who all made this possible. RBob is to be commended on his contribution, and Scot Sea from here also did some heavy lifting, on some other stuff that'll soon see the light of day.

Grumpy - have you thought about hosting the files on a site like sourceforge.net so we can track changes?

I'm eagerly awaiting the download.

The first posting was sort of a proof of concept, just to get it out there, so a certain party would stop with his claims, and allegations. This has been a work in progress for a LONG time. It's just taken forever to get this far.

I now have phase one, which is the stock code done, and just need to finish commenting it. Then the final and full version will be Public Domained.

The heavy lifting part of phase one is done.

Rbob, Grumpy, Scott SEA, Funstick(all the mentors who take the time to stop listen and let us pick ur brains)You guys are so modest. I know its a small dedicated group effort Almost like rolling a big snowball @ the core of it all. Always has been the talk and the work. Everyone does some work but w/o a libarian to put it all in order; it would get lost in the mix even though it takes so much work and long hours/weeks/months/years to do.
I know that When it hits PD,a lot of know it alls are going to start removing their aftermarket ECM's and go Delco, Cuz thats where it at. Yeah Guys A-1 !!! GM RULEZ ALL.
my 2.5 cents lol
Ed

The FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT!!!!

Once I part with my Christine of an 89 IROC Z 350. She's red and a bitchgets me points(I have 12 OWWW!@@#$%$ Cops always at the wrong place when I am being frisky.
I want to get all the pieces for an ECM bench together and get testing. Then my friend, Bill the Race Car chasis builder/ Pro Welder is building himself a stout 350 w All the goodies and twin turbos was going to have to spend bukuu bucks on a Motec or risk smoking his baby. He only wants 700hp w parts that can go much much more. We,him primarily, are going to try and create a Drivable Real Street 4 link Monster.I want to help with my computer knowledge.I am a PC Guru/pro re-engineer rigger/tinkerer. He was planning on spending 10K; I told him with this it's gonna be like $3000 (+-500).
This is gonna use all the right equiptment/tools to have carnal knowledge We'll do it. Its gonna be like Grumpys keen FI Instincts.
Then afterwards, A few yers later, when I become King at work or build a better mousetrap. I smell my current daily beater/ Winter/Snowboarding1995 96 ODB-2 blazer w/ a real nasty. "Correct" Twin Turbo 4.3 with an Astrovan AWD Axle and Viscous Coupling Case / Iwonder if will fit and is the same as a Syclone's. Anyone? Suggestions.
Its gonna be a real good ride
Ed. :yourock:

Grumpy,
Outstanding. Sounds great. I have what is probably a dumb question. What editor can be used with your code? If not tunercat, is that something in your future plans?
