Afr Tuner
help anyone!
I can't get it to open a bin.
shows an error:
"error in frmMain. OpenBinaryFile
error number: 429
activeX component can't create object
error source afr tuner"
I have installed the oxc files and registered them
as well as a few other activeX controls I stumbled onto
also deleted the afr tuner files and reinstalled
this is the second week without any progress.
can anyone point me in the right direction?
even a hint would be welcome.

Probably your best bet is to email TRAXION.
I scanned through the link post and here's what you may want to check....
Did you copy the ocx's to THIS DIRECTORY?
c:\windows\system\
(shouldn't matter what directory you put them in as long as you registered them with REgsvr32)
Are these files "REGISTERED" on your computer. IOW did you register them using Regsvr32?
'comdlg32.ocx'
'msflxgrd.ocx'
'msflxgrd.ocx'
Are there any SP's (Service Packs) for your OS that you have NOT installed?
Good luck with it.

Re: Afr Tuner
I had the same experience with AFR tuner as well.
I just eventually gave up.

Took all of two minutes to find this thread by doing an advanced search.

I can vouch for the fact this file is clean of anything nasty. But to be safe use your anti-virus program to check it. Just run it and it will automatically install the files for you.
