TunerPro RT datalogging problems...
does anyone know why the "packet error count" is going up when i datalog? i haven't had a problem with this before, but it's making my sample rate all messed up. it'll say that the actual sample rate is 10... but the data is actually only refreshing about 1-2 per second, and the "engine running time" in seconds, isn't accurately ticking down the seconds. it'll be like...1...2...34.........5......6..78.....9. This is all going on while that packet error count keeps going up as well.
I'm using a 730 ecu, moates adapter w/ZIF, and a tweaked super AUJP bin.
Could it have something to do witht the fact that I used the extended VE table up to 6400 RPM? All i did was put in the values i wanted in that table, and put zeroed out the VE table to 5600 RPM. is that all you gotta do?
On a side note, why is it that the values i enter for the main spark advance table isn't the same as what the computer is actually sending? eg. 700 RPM @ 43 kPa the value i put enter in the main spark table is 17 deg. when stream the data via the ALDL connector, it's jumping around erratically between 17-23 degrees with an occasional jump to 29. I've smoothed out the values around that cell so even if it does move to an adjacent cell, it's not supposed to change more than 2 degrees.
I know there are other things that get added on to determine the final value for advance, but what are they, and how can I change them so that my timing doesn' jump around so erratically?
Thanks
