Prominator Vss have to be correct?

This may belong in a differnet forum.

71 chevy blazer is the vechicle I"m doing my tpi swap on. the speedo isn't anywhere near right I don't think,

I"ve got to different gears and bigger tires.

I plan on using a prominator in the ecm to control the TPI setup, swapping to a MAP instead of a MAF. The Vss coming off the tranny, Do I need to adjust the gear in the tranny there to read right before I do this or will it matter?

There are adjustments in the code for letting the ecm know what the real speeds are. While your speedo maybe off, you can tell the ecm to figure things out so it's seeing the real speed.

JP86SS answered your question in the other post.....
No you want a 4000 pulse per mile sender. (4 pulse per rev)
Go to the link for JTR in the other post and I'm pretty sure you'll want a 4PAC sensor setup.
