VATS enabled car still starts
I tried enabling VATS no my non equiped vats 86 camaro to see if the car would start and it did. I am using the 730 ecm and though by enabling vats in the chip it would not start.
I tested it out today through ostrich (how easy no more chips) and the car started was abit surprised as I was lead to believe it would not start.

So I can leave it enabled and it will run is that what you are saying. The only reason why I found this interesting was that when I went through the swap to MAP a lot of people said and I read that you have to disable VATS as it will not start.
So I ended up testing it out today because when I first completed the conversion I took it out. I wanted something to test to see if the Emulation on Ostrich works so I thought I might try and enable VATS and see if it works
Next time I get a chance I might try fuel cut off at a low value and see if all is good with ostrich.

I had the opposite problem---no pw.
I turned it off long ago and never looked at it again.
I went and looked at it finally.
One bit is to turn it off/on
The other is to turn the error code 46 on/off.
You just changed the code 46 one IB.
Same thing I did. But I turned it off so I didn't get a code.
Chased my tail for a while.

Z69 hmm, I actually did set B4 to enable.
I looked at the error code and I still have B1-46 enabled which I can basically disable as a VATS code will never come up anyway.
