$32b or $6e ???
Ok, here is my cituation. I have an 85' TPI 305 and am planning on upgrading to an 89' ECM i have from my old 350 car. I know the mask that came originally for 89' is $6e but from looking around here there doesnt seem to be much info on tunning 6e and even some people are moving over to 32b. Ive been lurking around tryn' to soak up what i can but i am starting to get to the point where i need to start diving in and getting some 1st hand experience and i need to know where my starting point should be. I do have 89' TPI stuff on my car btw, so no csi and i am also using an 89 plenum throttle body and 89' style slp runners.

Goofing I have done on them was using the $6E code for some minor stuff for Bill.
I would prolly continue using this on your car as well if we ever got to gether to play, I have the Tunercat $6E stuff on my laptop so u can see this weekend.
That being said, some people here can the cold start and use the cold start tables from the newer $6E and put that into the 32B stuff.
Depends on what you end up doing and which you would feel most comfortable with.

If you're just going to run closed loop, or idle/WOT, then MAF will get you by (as applicable to the 165). But, if you ever expect too, really have a drivible street open loop car, hotrod, then MAP is going to be where you'll most likely wind up. If you search unde 8D, you can see all the people that have played with that.
Not to mention a VE table is alot more intuitive, IMO, then dealing with the MAF tables, and scalars.
