8051-TPI Definition?

Even though I’m sometime away from this, I need to start thinking about being able to program the 8051 for TPI. Please correct me if I’m wrong. My thought at this time is to take a XDF file from a 5081 and use the setting from a TPI. Using Tunerpro I should be able to view two files at once, although I’m not sure if they can be different definitions.
